The office of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi in Kabul, Afghanistan, commemorated the first ten days of the month of Muharram Al-Haram for the current Hijri year 1441 (2019) marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The Office organized mourning ceremonies at its headquarters in the city. 

The ceremonies were attended and participated by a gathering of scholars, cultural figures and students of seminary schools.
