Grand Ayatollah Shirazi condoles the earthquake victims’ families

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, has expressed his sorrow and grief for the losses of the late earthquake that took place in the Iraq-Iran region.

 

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, has expressed his sorrow and grief for the losses of the late earthquake that took place in the Iraq-Iran region.

His eminence has condoled the victims’ families, asking Allah, the Almighty, to bless the souls of the dead ones, and praying for speedy recovery for the injured ones.

His eminence called the believing men and women to fulfill the needs and losses of those whom were effected during the earthquake, and to sustain and aid the injured ones.

His eminence also permitted to spend the Khumus and alms (Zakah) to help the people effected by the earthquake. 

A powerful magnitude-7.3 earthquake has rocked the northern border region between Iran and Iraq, killing more than 400 people and injuring thousands more.
