After a 4-year hiatus, Syrian artist returns to work on the largest Quran in the world

The Syrian artist, Riad Nawaf Al-Radi, said that he returned again to work on his project, which aims to prepare the largest Noble Quran in the world in a distinctive way, after a hiatus of about four years.

Al-Radi confirmed that his simple financial capabilities and the lack of donations affected the pace of completion of the Noble Quran.

He indicated that he seeks to register the Quran after its completion in the Guinness Book of World Records by drawing the attention of non-Arabic speakers to the holy book.

He explained that the height of a page of the Holy Quran made of wood reached three meters and a width of 1.85 cm. He expected that the book would weigh more than 33 tons after its completion.

He added that the project cannot be sold or monopolized by any party, rather it is the property of the Arab and Islamic world, and it can be moved from one country to another.

Al-Radi has so far finished writing 42 pages of the holy book.
