Zainabiya Seminary in Syria celebrates birth of Prophet and Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)

A joyful ceremony was held in Hussainiyah of Zainabiya Women’s Seminary, affiliated to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, in Sayyida Zainab region (peace be upon her in Syria, in celebration of the births of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.

 After reciting verses from the Holy Quran, poems in praise of the Prophet were read. A lecture was delivered by one of the female teachers of the seminary.

A seminary student recited a poem in honor of the joyful occasion.

At the end of the ceremony, prizes were distributed to the winners.
