More than One Million Syrians Return to Their Homes, Says UN
As of February 19, 2025, the United Nations has reported that over one million Syrians have returned to their homes since the fall of the regime in Syria, Arab News reported.
Filippo Grandi, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, stated that this figure includes approximately 280,000 refugees who have come back from abroad, alongside more than 800,000 individuals who were internally displaced within the country.
