ISIS Remnants Kill Nearly 4,100 in Syria Since 2019 Despite Territorial Losses
Despite losing their last stronghold in Syria in 2019, ISIS fighters have killed nearly 4,100 people in the country, Arab News reported yesterday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the attacks, concentrated in the Badia desert, targeted government forces, Kurdish fighters, and civilians.
While ISIS has lost territory and fighters, the group continues to launch deadly attacks from desert hideouts, raising concerns about their continued threat.
