Head of Pakistani Jaafari Jurisprudence Implementation Movement passes away

Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousawi, the head of the Pakistan Jaafari Jurisprudence Implementation Movement, who was in a local hospital in Islamabad, passed away last night.
Mousawi is considered one of the most renowned Shia religious leaders in Pakistan. He revived the mourning months of Muharram and Safar and he also emphasized the right of the mourners.
Among his valuable services is organizing a procession in memory of the destruction of the Al-Baqi cemetery on the eighth of Shawwal in Pakistan.
