Armed men launched an overnight attack on a military base in the volatile northwestern region bordering Afghanistan, Shia Waves Persian reported. The strike triggered heavy clashes between the assailants and security forces, resulting in multiple casualties. According to official statements, two soldiers were killed while at least 17 sustained injuries.

Although no group has claimed responsibility, security analysts say suspicion falls on the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which remains active in the province and has carried out repeated assaults on military installations and convoys.
