Government’s Helplessness in Parachinar Crisis: Allama Sibtain Sabzwari

Allama Syed Sibtain Haider Sabzwari, Central Vice President of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, has raised alarm over the government’s inability to ensure safety in Parachinar, where over 200 innocent lives have been lost since October 2023, Shiite News reported. Speaking at the University of Najaf, he criticized the government and security agencies for their failure to open access to the area, suggesting that they may either be complicit with terrorists or powerless against them.

Sabzwari emphasized that a small group of terrorists is unlawfully blocking the road, questioning the effectiveness of security measures in place. He called for immediate action from the government and state institutions to restore fundamental rights to the people of Parachinar, asserting that their inaction poses a significant threat to national integrity and public safety. The situation demands urgent attention to safeguard the lives of those affected.
