Six Soldiers killed, Six TTP Terrorists Neutralized in North Waziristan Operation

In a recent intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan, six soldiers were killed while neutralizing an equal number of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists, Dawn reported citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The clash occurred on the night of October 4/5 in the Spinwam area, resulting in the death of six TTP militants during an exchange of fire.

Additionally, ISPR reported the killing of TTP ringleader Attaullah during a joint operation in Swat. The recent surge in attacks against security forces follows the TTP’s breakdown of a ceasefire with the government in 2022, escalating violence across the region.
