Security Forces Eliminate Six Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

In two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces have eliminated a total of six terrorists, Dawn online newspapaer reported yesterday.

In Dera Ismail Khan district, five terrorists were “successfully neutralised” during an operation. In North Waziristan, another terrorist named Inam Ullah was killed in a separate exchange of fire.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the militants, who were “actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as innocent civilians.”

Pakistan has seen an increase in terror activities in the past year, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
