Pakistani soldiers eliminate four militants in overnight raid
Pakistan security forces killed four militants in an overnight raid on an outlawed group’s hideout in the northwest bordering Afghanistan, TRTWorld reported.
Troops found a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives in the operation conducted at the hideout in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military statement said.
The raid came after insurgents from the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attempted to sneak into a navy air base in Balochistan, resulting in a shootout that killed a soldier and four attackers.
No damage was caused to the Siddiqui air station, authorities have confirmed. BLA, designated a terrorist group by Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, claimed responsibility for the attack
