Shia Community in Southern Lebanon Welcomes Representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Shia residents of the town of Anqoun in southern Lebanon welcomed Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Sheikh Jalal Maash, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, on the third day of Muharram.

The visit took place in an atmosphere of respect and social solidarity, as southern Lebanon continues to face difficult security conditions. Sheikh Maash was received by a number of Husseini mawkib servants and local social figures.

During the visit, Sheikh Maash toured several Husseini mawkibs and service centers in Anqoun, meeting with organizers and volunteers involved in Muharram activities.

He expressed appreciation for the efforts of those serving the Husseini mawkibs and emphasized their important role in strengthening social bonds and supporting the spiritual atmosphere of the community.

Sheikh Maash also praised the patience and resilience of the people of southern Lebanon amid the difficult circumstances facing the region.
