First Shia Family Group Launched in Chile to Strengthen Religious and Cultural Identity
—————————————
The “Hussein for All” campaign has launched the Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him) House Project in Chile — described as the first initiative of its kind dedicated to Shia families in the South American nation. The project aims to support the religious and cultural identity of both local converts and Shia immigrants residing in the country.

The initiative began with a joyful celebration marking the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), attended by women and children from the Shia community. During the event, one Chilean woman publicly declared her conversion to Islam and acceptance of the Shia faith, reciting the two testimonies of faith and the third testimony affirming allegiance to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) after contacting the organizers.

Organizers said the project seeks to provide a space for education, spiritual growth, and community gatherings, particularly for families who are new to the faith.

The “Hussein for All” campaign continues its mission to promote Shia religious events worldwide, aiming to preserve the rituals, values, and identity of Shia Muslims across diverse cultural contexts — including regions where Shia communities are still emerging, such as Latin America.
