APHC alleges India’s BJP regime persistently usurping all rights, including religious freedom, in Kashmir

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has deplored the Indian authorities’ prevention of Jumatul Wida (farewell friday) prayers at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, alleging that Kashmiri Muslims are deprived of religious freedom in Kashmir, Kashmir Media Service reported.

The APHC spokesperson has criticized the enforced lockdowns on Jamia Masjid and the house arrest of Mirwaiz by the BJP regime, calling it a violation of the basic rights of the people.

It has also highlighted the ongoing assault on religious freedoms by the BJP/RSS regime and the recent killing of two youth by Indian troops.

The APHC has called on the UN and other countries to hold India accountable for its alleged suppression of religious rights and other freedoms in Kashmir.
