Mass crowds of Shias commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the great companion Saeed bin Jubair

Yesterday, large crowds of Shias from inside and outside Iraq commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the great companion Saeed bin Jubair at his holy shrine in the Iraqi city of Wasit.

The followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) are keen to commemorate this great occasion every year, in honor of the distinguished companion Saeed bin Jubair, who was known for his honorable stances and his support for the causes of the Pure Progeny.

The Holy Shrine and its surroundings witnessed the participation of the huge crowds of believers in reviving the painful occasion, amid a great security and service alert from government departments, in addition to providing the necessary services by the Husseini Mawkibs.

Sheikh Saeed bin Jubaur Al-Asadi is considered one of the companions of Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him), and he was known as Al-A’lim (the Scholar), Al-Tha’ir (the revolutionary) and Shareek Al-Quran (Partner of the Quran) for his knowledge and understanding, until he died a martyr defending the truth and rebelling against falsehood.
