The people of Holy Karbala go out in a mourning procession to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family)

The people of the holy province of Karbala went out in a unified mourning procession, to offer condolences to the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) on the martyrdom of the Noble Messenger, peace be upon him and his family.

Sayyid Hashem Sadiq Al-Haddad, from the procession of the people of holy Karbala, said that the people of Holy Karbala set out in a massive mourning procession to the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, on the martyrdom anniversary of his cousin, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), on the twenty-eighth night of Safar.”

It is noteworthy that this mourning procession is an annual ritual revived by the people of Holy Karbala to commemorate the occasions of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
