Karbala Municipality announces participation of 4300 service workers, 350 trucks in cleaning campaign 

The Karbala Municipality Directorate announced on Friday, 9th September, the participation of 4,300 service workers and 350 service vehicles in cleaning the city during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

 The Director of Karbala Municipality, Engineer Hassan Al-Sharifi, told news outlets that the workers of the Directorate continue to clean the city and remove municipal waste.”

 He added: “Ten municipalities from different provinces are participating, which has strengthened our plan with mechanisms, cadres and volunteers.”

 He pointed out: “There is support from the municipalities of Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz and other provinces from Iran that are participating through their workers only and without vehicles with a number that reached (1500).”

Al-Sharifi concluded: “The Iranian workers are pilgrims and have volunteered to participate in the service and cleaning in particular.”
