Iraq: Preparations to hold first central Eid Al-Ghadeer Festival

The organizing and preparatory committees, in cooperation with the Husseini bodies and processions and a number of institutions, are continuing their preparations to hold the first central Eid Al-Ghadeer Festival in Baghdad, which is scheduled to be held on 14-15 July 2022 with the support of the holy shrines.

In a statement viewed by Shia Waves News Agency, the organizing committee said that the festival includes several activities, including international exhibitions for book, manuscripts and artworks, as well as raising the banner of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, marking the start of the Eid al-Ghadir celebration.

The committee added that the festival enjoys great support and attention from the holy shrines by overcoming obstacles and providing logistical needs, as well as its participation in its various activities.
