Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine announces the influx of four million pilgrims during the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Jawad, peace be upon him

The Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine announced that four million pilgrims have commemorated the ceremonies for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon him, at his Holy Shrine.

The General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Al-Kadhimiya said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, that it “mobilized all of its employees, along with volunteers, and various members from the seminary, religious, security, service and health institutions, to receive the millions of pilgrims on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad ibn Al-Jawad, peace be upon him, in order to provide an atmosphere of faith for the faithful crowds while maintaining the security, providing comfort and safety, and ensuring the smooth flow of the pilgrimage.”

It added that “over 2400 male and female volunteers were honored to serve inside and around the holy shrine, in addition to 70 media professionals who provided full media coverage of the event.”
