Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation holds its weekly meeting and discusses preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development held its weekly meeting in the presence of its chairman, Hujjat Al-Islam Sheikh Mustafa Al-Muhammadi, and discussed what should be prepared for the upcoming Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

A statement by the Foundation, received by Shia Waves News Agency, said that “Following the directives of his Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi and due to the importance of the great annual event, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation held its weekly meeting on the preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”

Hussain Al-Adly, the head of the Relations Department at the Foundation, presented a work plan on the pilgrimage and what should be done in order to fulfill the duty assigned to the Foundation on such important occasions,” according to the statement.

The statement pointed out that “the members also discussed the conclusion of the legal study of the draft charter for the protection of Iraq’s orphans, where the legal advisor of the Foundation, Salah Al-Jashami, provided a detailed explanation of the latest developments of the study and the legal draft of the project.”

The Chairman of the Foundation, His Eminence Sheikh Al-Muhammadi, also put forward the project of opening representative offices of the Foundation in a number of Iraqi provinces, and discussed the ongoing preparations for the Foundation’s next forum to honor the mayors of Al-Hurr District for their cooperation in the draft charter for the protection of Iraq’s orphans.
