Massive dust storm hits Karbala

Today, Karbala was hit by a strong dust storm that covered the atmosphere of the holy province.

The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced the weather in the country during the days of Eid al-Fitr, while it expected an increase in dust and a rise in temperatures.

A statement by the authority, received by Shia Waves News Agency, stated, “The weather in Iraq for tomorrow, Monday, will be clear and in some places dusty, and temperatures are close to the previous day in the central region, while it will be clear to partly cloudy in the eastern parts of the country with light rain in some areas.”

It explained, “The weather on Tuesday will be partly cloudy in the central region and partly cloudy to cloudy in the northern part of the country, with showers falling in the mountainous regions.”

“Next Wednesday, the weather will be clear with some clouds, with a rise in temperature of a few degrees throughout the country.”
