Iraq to Host ‘Mercy for the Worlds’ International Festival in Honour of Holy Prophet

The Custodianship of the Honourable Abal-Fazl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine is set to host a ‘Mercy for the Worlds’ international festival in Iraq to commemorate the 1,500th anniversary of the Holy Prophet’s birth (peace be upon him and his pure family).

The festival will feature a variety of scientific and cultural programs in cooperation with Iraqi universities, taking place from the 12th to the 18th of the lunar Hijri month of Rabi al-Awwal.

Sayed Aqil al-Yasiri, head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Custodianship, confirmed that invitations will be extended to participants from outside Iraq, including researchers, academics, Quran reciters, and seminary figures, to add a diverse scientific and cultural dimension to the event.

The festival aims to bring the knowledge, virtues, and Seerah of Ahl-ul-Bayt (peace be upon them) to society by holding events related to the Infallibles (peace be upon them).
