IHMG’s General Supervisor Meets Iraqi MP to Discuss Arbaeen and Development Projects

The Imam Hussein Media Group’s (IHMG) General Supervisor, Hujjattul-Islam Sheikh Mustafa Mohammadi, met with Iraqi lawmaker Dr. Firas Al-Muslimaoui in Holy Karbala to discuss several key issues.

The talks focused on preparations and services for pilgrims during the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, as well as ongoing projects run by the media group and the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development.

Sheikh Mohammadi highlighted initiatives such as the Iraq Orphans Charter and the “Karbala Vision” project, which aims to accommodate 50 million visitors by 2030.

The meeting also addressed a proposal submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office to cancel entry visa requirements for Imam Hussein’s visitors, particularly during Arbaeen, and discussed water supply concerns in Karbala. Dr. Al-Muslimaoui expressed support for the issues raised and pledged to prioritize follow-up with the relevant authorities.
