IHC and Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distribute Eid sacrifices to needy families in Iraq

The UK-based Imam Hussein Charity(IHC), in partnership with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, carried out a major charitable initiative on the first day of Eid Al-Adha, distributing meat from dozens of sacrificial animals to underprivileged families across Iraq.

The annual project, implemented in Holy Karbala and several other provinces, was held with the intention of seeking the well-being of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance). It aimed to revive the religious tradition of sacrifice while supporting families in need.

The project was held under the guidance of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi and forms part of a broader commitment to humanitarian service on religious occasions.

Organizers affirmed their intention to continue this initiative annually, highlighting its role in promoting social solidarity and expressing the values of compassion and support rooted in Islamic teachings.
