Iran: Three million pilgrims entered Iraq so far to perform Arbaeen Pilgrimage

 Iranian Interior Minister, Ahmed Wahidi, in a statement said that up to three million Iranians have left the country for Iraq so far to perform the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

According to media sources, Wahidi added while speaking to reporters, “As the Arbaeen draws near, the number of pilgrims who intend to go to Iraq, increases.”

 Wahidi pointed out that “the six Iranian border crossings to Iraq are now witnessing a new influx of pilgrims,” pointing out that “there is no problem in traveling to Iraq.”

 The Iranian minister added that “about one million four hundred and fifty thousand Iranian pilgrims returned to the country after they participated in the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”
