Daily Session of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi with scholars, believers in the holy city of Qom

On the morning of Wednesday, the 29th of the holy month of Dhul-Qa’dah 1443 AH (29/6/2022 AD), during the daily session of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, one of the attendees asked:

“Is Shiism or sovereignty evidenced by allegation?”

His Eminence replied:

“Shiism is accepted by allegation, unless otherwise proven. As for the allegation of sovereignty, it is only proven by one of the following two matters: The first is the testimony of two just persons. The second is fame.”

The session continued with various questions on different topics such as dowry, hajj pilgrimage and saying the third testimony in prayer.
