13th Islamic Economics and Finance Forum Opens in Istanbul

The 13th Forum on Islamic Economics and Finance has opened at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, organized in cooperation with the Center for Islamic Economics Research, a subsidiary of the İLKE Science and Culture Foundation.

According to Anadolu Agency, the event brings together scholars, economists, and policymakers to discuss models of sustainable and ethical economic development based on Islamic principles.

In his opening remarks, Ahmet Said Öner, Chairman of the İLKE Foundation, emphasized the need to develop an economic framework that prioritizes workers and the wider public while promoting financial justice and social welfare.

The forum will include panel discussions on Islamic finance, equitable growth, and new approaches to labor-centered economic systems, aiming to advance dialogue on ethical alternatives to conventional global finance.
