The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has reported that Israeli strikes on two newspaper offices in Yemen resulted in the deaths of 31 journalists and media support workers, Democracy Now reported.

The attack, which also wounded 22 journalists, is described as the deadliest on the press in 16 years and the second deadliest ever recorded by the organization.
