Pakistan’s Baltistan Region Hosts Large-Scale Religious Summer Program

The sixth annual religious summer program in the Baltistan region of Pakistan has concluded with the participation of over 12,000 students. The program was held under the supervision of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

According to the Shia Waves Agency, the twenty-day course, titled “Our Youth, Our Hope,” included lessons on Islamic jurisprudence, principles, ethics, and the life of Imam Hussein. Students were evaluated in fourteen different examination centers.

Prominent religious figures, including Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Jafari, attended the ceremony. A closing ceremony and the announcement of results will be held on August 31 in Skardu, where the top ten students will be awarded tickets for a trip to Karbala.
