1,000 Moukebs to Serve Devotees at Tehran Gathering for Imam Reza’s Birth Anniversary

A major gathering honoring Imam Reza (peace be upon him) will take place in Tehran this Friday, May 9, under the theme “Iran of Imam Reza (peace be upon him),” Iqna reported.
Organized by local committees, the event will feature 1,000 Moukebs (service booths) providing refreshments, cultural activities, and health services to participants.
Abbas Heidari, the event coordinator, stated that Tehran Municipality and partner organizations will handle infrastructure (electricity, water, etc.), while mosques and religious groups will manage the Moukebs. The celebration coincides with the end of Razawee Period, which includes the birth anniversaries of Sayyida Masoumeh (peace be upon her) on the first of Dhul-Qada and Imam Reza (peace be upon him) on the 11th. Shia Muslims worldwide observe these occasions with communal events.
