The office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, distributes more than 100 heaters to Shia families
With the approach of the winter season in Afghanistan, the institutions of the honorable Shirazi Religious Authority moved to extend a helping hand to the poor Shia families in the country.
In this regard, the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, took the initiative to distribute heaters to the families of orphans and needy people in the city.
A statement from His Eminence’s office, received by Shia Waves News Agency, said: “The Office took the initiative to distribute 110 heaters to the needy and poor families in the city of Mazar-Sharif.”
It continued that such initiatives and humanitarian assistance are provided “under the auspices of the Awaited Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance).”
The statement added, “The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority will continue to support the honorable Shia families in Afghanistan to overcome their difficult situations.”
