Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distributes school bags to orphans in Herat, Afghanistan

From the holy city of Karbala to Herat, Afghanistan, the gifts of the Shirazi Religious Authority were delivered to orphaned students on the birth anniversary of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his progeny) and his grandson Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).

The beautiful initiative was presented by the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, as a support for the Shia families in Afghanistan.

In a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, the Foundation stated that “the initiative included distributing school bags to orphans in the Afghan city of Herat, in cooperation with the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.”

It added, “This initiative brought joy and happiness to the hearts of young orphans, who continue their education despite all the difficult security and living conditions in their country.”

For their part, the cooperating parties in the success of this initiative and its delivery to its beneficiaries expressed their great happiness, while extending their thanks and praise to the noble Shirazi Religious Authority and the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation. ‏
