The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Kabul continues to hold mourning ceremonies in remembrance of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the Afghan capital, Kabul, continues to hold mourning councils in remembrance of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The official website of the Grand Ayatollah said, in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, that the office continues to hold its mourning councils in the presence and participation of dozens of scientific and cultural figures and Shias of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The statement added that the ceremonies witness a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, poetic verses and elegies, and remembrance of the tragedy by Hojjat al-Islam Danesh.

The centers, mosques, and Husseiniyahs affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in various parts of the world have organized various religious and mourning events to commemorate the mournful occasion.
