Director of Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi delivers lecture to thousands of Husseini mourners in Bamiyan, Afghanistan

A mourning ceremony was held on the anniversary of the burial of the martyrs of Al-Taff battle, next to the shrine of Sayyed Hashem, peace be upon him, in the Afghan city of Bamiyan, while the Director of the Shirazi Religious Authority Office delivered a lecture on the occasion.

The mourning ceremony witnessed the participation of thousands of Shias of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in a mourning procession.

The Director of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority in Bamiyan, Hojjat al-Islam al-Wa’izi, delivered a lecture to the crowd of Husseini mourners.

Al-Wa’izi recalled the painful Ashura incident and what happened with Imam Hussein, his family and his companions, peace be upon them, of injustices unprecedented in history, stressing the need to continue commemorating the memorial and its sacred rituals and conveying them to the whole world.
