With efforts from the Shirazi Religious Authority, a second well dug in Mazar-i-Sharif to secure the needs of Shia families

Joy entered the hearts of hundreds of Afghan Shia families in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, after the opening of a new well for them to cover their necessary water needs, which coincided with the marriage anniversary of Imam Ali and Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon them.

Due to the difficult living conditions of Shia families and the lack of necessary services, the al-Rasool al-A’dham Foundation, in cooperation with the Ahlulbayt Charitable Foundation in Kuwait, dug a second well in the city.

According to what the organizers told Shia Waves News Agency, “most Shia families in Mazar-i-Sharif city suffer from a lack of services, especially the difficulty of securing water,” adding that “the idea of ​​digging wells is the best at the present time to secure the needs of the families.”

The organizers pointed out that “this blessed act comes from the commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and under the direct supervision of his Eminence’s office in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.”

Those in charge of the work confirmed that “joy has entered the hearts of the Shia families who benefit from the well, and there will be similar charitable works in the near future.”
