Afghanistan: Explosions Kill at Least Eight Taliban Members in Panjshir
……..

Two explosions struck a Taliban base in Afghanistan’s central Panjshir province on Monday night, killing at least eight fighters, according to multiple local sources, Amu TV reported. The blasts occurred around 7:40 p.m. in the Manjinsto area of Abdullah Khil valley, where the Taliban operate a key outpost. Independent verification of casualties has not yet been obtained, and Taliban officials have not issued any public statement on the incident.

Residents told Amu that the explosions hit a compound associated with a man known as Mawlawi Malik, leaving several others wounded. Taliban forces quickly cordoned off parts of the valley, restricting movement and questioning villagers as they launched an investigation. Access to the site was reportedly blocked shortly after the blasts. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes amid a series of small-scale assaults reported in Panjshir over the past year.
