Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, IHC Distribute Food Aid to 300 Families in Afghanistan
……………..
The Al-Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, in cooperation with the IHC Charity Organization, has launched a major humanitarian campaign to distribute food supplies to hundreds of underprivileged Shiite families in Kabul, Afghanistan. The initiative aims to ease the hardship faced by families struggling under difficult living conditions.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the foundation said the campaign follows the guidance of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who has repeatedly urged providing assistance to impoverished families, especially in areas affected by economic and social crises.
The first phase of the campaign reached 300 families, with priority given to households with orphans and those facing severe economic difficulties. Each food basket includes essential items designed to meet monthly household needs.
The foundation noted that the initiative seeks to promote social solidarity and a culture of compassion within the community, emphasizing that efforts will continue on a regular basis to expand assistance to more families in need.
According to the statement, these humanitarian efforts reflect the ongoing commitment of institutions affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority to alleviate poverty and provide both material and moral support to vulnerable communities, particularly during times of crisis.
