The Misbah Al-Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has inaugurated its 50th drinking water well in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan.

The project was carried out in cooperation with the UK-based Imam Hussein Charity (IHC) and funded by community donors, with direct oversight from the Grand Marja’s office.

The well, opened on Sunday, September 14 (21 Rabi al-Awwal 1447 AH), is expected to provide clean water to hundreds of families in need. The initiative is part of the foundation’s broader humanitarian efforts to support underserved communities and alleviate water shortages in the region.
