Lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Nili, Afghanistan, solemnly commemorated the month of Safar with a grand mourning ceremony, Shia Waves Persian.

Shiites and devotees of Ahl al-Bayt in Nili district, Daykundi province, Afghanistan, gathered at the “Fath Muhammad” Hussainiya to hold the Safar mourning rites.

According to Shia News Agency, mourners expressed their grief through chest-beating and elegy recitations, honoring the memory of the captives of Karbala. The atmosphere inside the Hussainiya was filled with devotion and religious fervor.
