A leader in the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Ahmad al-Tamimi, announced the launch of a military operation to track down ISIS terrorist cells in Wadi Janat, northeast of Diyala.
Al-Tamimi said, “The units of the 110th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Units launched a military operation from two directions to track down ISIS terrorist cells in Wadi Janat, 70 km northeast of Baqubah.”
Al-Tamimi added, “The operation resulted in its early hours the seizure of ISIS hideouts including explosive devices, which were detonated by the engineering squads without any damage, stressing that the operation continues until now in achieving the goals set for it.”
