Beirut Office of the Shirazi Religious Authority commemorates the first ten days of Muharram

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the Lebanese capital Beirut, is commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, by holding mourning ceremonies during the first ten days of Muharram.

The ceremonies are attended by religious and scientific figures, as well as general Ahlulbayt followers, where they express their grief over the calamity that befell the Imam, peace be upon him.

The ceremonies conclude by praying to the Almighty to lift this pandemic from this world and hasten the reappearance of Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him.
