The World Nonviolence Organization “Free Muslim” said that it is following the dangerous developments taking place on the common borders of the states of Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing its deep concern at the exacerbation of the current battles and the issue getting out of control.
In a statement, the organization called on the two countries to spare their peoples the horrors of war, fighting and unforeseen consequences resulting from the repercussions of the continuation of the fighting, stressing the importance of relying on dialogue and understanding between the two parties and finding peaceful solutions to this serious crisis.
The organization drew the attention of the leaders of the two countries to pay attention to the fate of the countries that fought wars in the past and reflect on the fate of their conditions on the social, economic and environmental levels, and the consequences of the rush and the absence of reason in dealing with similar crises, especially since blood and damage are costing all parties involved in any military operations.
The organization suggested that the authorities of the two countries resort to international arbitration or a neutral and impartial third party to settle disputes in the event that bilateral negotiations cannot reach satisfactory solutions. Arbitration and the involvement of the international community to resolve disputes is a means that may reduce the risks of the crisis and distance the specter of war, fighting and costly conflicts.
