The Yemeni Minister of Information, Dhaif Allah al-Shami, condemned the raids launched by the Saudi coalition on the capital, Sana’a, as one of them resulted in damage to the annexes of the ministry building.
Al-Shami considered the coalition’s targeting of the ministry’s infrastructure and media institutions as an attempt to silence the voice of truth to cover up its crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.
He called on Arab and international media federations and international organizations concerned with the protection of journalists to play their role in the systematic targeting of the ministry and media institutions in Yemen.
The Saudi coalition aircraft had directly targeted the Ministry of Information building and a number of media institutions with a series of raids over the past years, which caused great damage.
