Commenting on the death sentence, the organization said, on its Twitter account, that the verdict was issued despite news that their confessions were extracted under torture, and pointed out that the total number of executions awaiting the approval of the ruler of Bahrain reached 10 cases.
It added that the right to life and not to be subjected to torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment is recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights covenants.
