A valuable collection with over 500 unique coins from different countries was offered to the stamps, banknotes and coins treasury of the Museum of Imam Redha Holy Shrine by an Iranian collector living in UK

 

A valuable collection with over 500 unique coins from different countries was offered to the stamps, banknotes and coins treasury of the Museum of Imam Redha Holy Shrine by an Iranian collector living in UK.

The Director of stamps, banknotes and coins treasury of the Museum of Imam Redha Holy Shrine said that over 500 coins from different countries such as China, Australia, museum an Iranian guy living in England, pointing out that the oldest coin of this collection was minted in 1861 in England.

He referred to some other recognizable and unique coins of this collection and said that some coins with over 2400 years of age belonging to the pre-Islam period.
