An Algerian researcher confirmed that the uprising of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is the first in history that shows the right path for the oppressed nations.
In an article, the Algerian researcher and writer Noura Farhat said that “the movement of the Third Imam, peace be upon him, in which he, along with his companions, faced with all determination, the signs of oppression and injustice, presented the right path with its depth and accuracy,” adding that “the Karbala uprising redefined the criteria for movements and revolutions.”
Farhat indicated that “the revolution led by Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is a school that teaches lessons of self-sacrifice and defending all the lofty Islamic values presented by the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
The author of the article pointed out that “this blessed uprising was a revival of all Islamic values, and resulted in very important political, ideological and religious results that are still present in societies and are reflected in the culture of resistance against arrogance and oppression.”
