BBC reveals Taliban’s displacement of hundreds of people from the Shia Hazara minority from their homes
A BBC investigation revealed that the Taliban has been systematically expelling hundreds of minority Hazaras from their homes.
The investigation confirmed that the terrorist movement was able to expel more than 1,200 families from villages in the central province of Daykundi since the beginning of last month, after they claimed that these families were living there illegally, but local residents say that the families have valid identity documents .
The BBC added that more than 4,000 people are believed to have been displaced as a result, and these evictions reinforce fears that the Taliban terrorist movement will once again persecute the Hazara Shia minority, as it did in the past.
This comes on the heels of Amnesty International’s announcement that the Taliban terrorist killed 13 people from the minority Shia Hazara community, including a teenage girl.
