14 Afghan soldiers killed and wounded in an armed attack by Taliban terrorists in northern Afghanistan
Security sources have reported that eight Afghan soldiers were killed and 6 others were wounded following an armed attack by the terrorist Taliban movement in Baghlan province, north of Afghanistan.
The Afghan news agency (Khama Press) reported that this was followed by clashes and the Afghan government forces eliminated 20 Taliban militants, including a prominent member responsible for Gozarajah Nur district.
At least six Taliban militants were killed and four others were wounded after the Afghan air forces launched air strikes in Logar province, east of the country, the army confirmed.
The Army Thunder Corps No. 203 said in a statement that “the raids launched by the Afghan Air Force took place in the Muhammad Agha and Baraki Barak districts of Logar province, about 60 km south of Kabul today. One of the dead was a local Taliban leader.”
