Twin explosions ripped through Farmer’s Day ceremony in the Afghan city of Lashakrgah, the provincial capital of Helmand province.
Twin explosions ripped through Farmer’s Day ceremony in the Afghan city of Lashakrgah, the provincial capital of Helmand province.
Preliminary reports indicate at least four people were killed and ten others have been wounded in twin blasts.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Interior officials are saying that 3 people have died and more than 30 others have sustained injuries in the incident.
The officials further added that the explosions took place after two improvised explosive devices planted in a stadium went off.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the explosions.
